AfriTin Mining has reported drill results for a final five holes drilled at the Uis mine, in Namibia, which demonstrate continuity of the V1/V2 pegmatite mineralisation at depth.

The highest combined metal (tin, lithium and tantalum) content intersection from the drilling contained 0.17% tin, 61 parts per million tantalum and 1.33% lithium oxide, over a 51 m intersection at a depth of between 201 m and 252 m.

The drill hole intersections demonstrate the continuity of mineralisation and a potential upgrade to resources at depth and support the company’s lithium and tantalum by-product initiatives.

CEO Anthony Viljoen says the high-grade intersections substantiate the company’s belief that AfriTin is poised to become a leading supplier of technology metals targeting a more diversified portfolio of production in future.-mining weekly
