
Namib Desert Diamonds (NAMDIA) has appointed 32 companies from 10 countries as its official clients for the 2026/27 to 2028/29 marketing period following a competitive selection process that attracted 75 applications from around the world.
The state-owned diamond marketing and sales company said the successful applicants were chosen after a comprehensive evaluation against predetermined criteria, with the new client base set to purchase and market Namibian natural diamonds over the next three years.
Applications were received from Namibia, Belgium, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), India, Hong Kong, Israel, Singapore, the United States, Armenia and Zimbabwe, highlighting sustained international demand for access to Namibia’s diamond production.
Belgium, India and the UAE secured the largest share of successful applicants, while Namibia was allocated five companies: Avalon Diamonds Namibia, Fine Star Jewellery and Diamonds Namibia, Gayane Trading, Sinco Investments and Stargems Manufacturing Namibia.
The full client list includes AC Diam BV, Dali Diamonds NV, Dev Jewels BV, Diamond Trading NV, Diamwill BVBA, Gem Blue BV, IGC Group NV, Pluczenik Diamond Company NV, Rosy Blue NV and SV Gems NV from Belgium; Chintan Gems BV, Dharmanandan Diamonds, Dia Jewel NV, Diamond India Limited, Jasani India, Narola Diamonds, Ratnakala Exports, Shree Ramkrishna Exports and Venus Jewel from India; and Choron DMCC, DA Trading DMCC, Dhamani Jewels DMCC, Diarush FZCO, M Suresh Company DMCC, Samir Gems FZCO, SBMH Group FZCO and The Source Diamonds DMCC from the UAE.
NAMDIA said the calibre of applications reflected strong international confidence in the quality and value of Namibian natural diamonds, adding that companies that were not selected are encouraged to participate in future client selection rounds.
