Namdeb has officially appointed Pankratius (PK) Kondjamba as the substantive Engineering Manager, effective from 1 December 2023.

Kondjamba, who previously held the role in an acting capacity, was selected following a successful recruitment process.

Possessing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Cape Town, along with a master’s in business administration from Steinbeis University Berlin in Germany, Kondjamba recently spearheaded the Engineering team in hosting a festive-themed engagement session for leaders across Namdeb.

During the event, Namdeb’s CEO, Riaan Burger, lauded the achievements of the Namdeb Team in 2023.

Reflecting on the remarkable journey that aligns with Namdeb’s purpose of “Mining for Good,” Burger emphasized the milestones reached, including the successful completion of major ramp-up requirements and the effective scaling up of operations in line with the new Long-Term plan.

The Namdeb CEO reiterated that the collective accomplishments contribute to ensuring a better tomorrow for the business, the community, and Namibia at large
